Report on the National Eye Database users training on web application on Dec 22 2006, held at Auditorium, Selayang Hospital. 

December 22. 2006 is an historical day for Ophthalmogy service in Malaysia. With over 70 doctors, optometrists and ophthalmic trained staff nurses from all the 35 MOH Ophthalmology Departments and 3 university hospitals i.e. University Malaya Medical Centre, Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and Universiti Sains Malaysia gathered at the NED user training session. This overwhelming response is indeed very encouraging and reflects the unity and support among eye care providers towards clinical registry and research, to eventually reach the common goal of service excellence and continuous improvement.

Dr. Mariam Ismail, Head of the MOH Ophthalmology service and the NED technical committee would like to thank all the heads of Ophthalmology departments (HOD), doctors in charge and site coordinators for your support.
Participants and all HODs will be given their passwords before Dec31 2006. We look forward to work closely with you and wishing you a Happy Newyear and success in the on-line data entry from 1st January 2007.
