Diabetic Eye Registry

 

The diabetic eye registry aims to collect data for all diabetic patients who are seen for the first time The diabetic eye registry aims to collect data for all diabetic patients who are seen for the first time at Ophthalmology clinics. It will include all diabetic patients referred to eye clinic for eye screening and exclude those who have regular eye checked by trained eye care providers such as optometrists, medical officers or ophthalmologists
 

 

Objectives

1.

To evaluate the status of diabetic retinopathy at the first diabetic eye screening at Ophthalmology clinics

 

Participation

All ophthalmology departments at MOH and university hospitals are invited to participate in this diabetic eye registry.
Inclusion criteria: All diabetic patients who are seen for the first time for fundus assessment at Ophthalmology clinics.
