NCVD-PCI registry

After the launching of NCVD-ACS registry, once again the cardiologists sat together with a high strength of mind to initiate the second registry under the umbrella, National Cardiovascular Disease Database. An opportunity for collaboration comes around with the Melbourne Interventional Group (MIG), Australia in the process of development of PCI registry. The dream comes true. After all the struggles and hard work, finally, the NCVD-PCI registry was initiated on 13th January 2007. Another date to be remembered in the chronicles of NCVD. The registry is chaired by Dato’ Dr Rosli B Mohd. Ali, National Heart Institute. It started with participation of 12 source data providers (SDP) involving government, universities and private hospitals throughout Malaysia.
From 1st January 2007 to date 31st March 2008, a total of 3,491 PCI cases were reported online by 8 SDPs.

NCVD is grateful to the supportive SDPs for their precious efforts in submitting their data.
Thank you very much!
