The NCVD-ACS registry is celebrating its second-year anniversary this year as it was launched officially on 31st March 2006 during the last NHAM 10th ASM. The registry is chaired by Dato’ Dr Jeyaindran Sinnadurai, Kuala Lumpur Hospital and Dato’ Dr Azhari Rosman, National Heart Institute. The registry started with 6 pilot sites. Now, it’s expanded to 13 active sites. From 1st January 2006 to date 31st March 2008, a total of 6,847 ACS cases have been reported online by 13 sites. After all the effort taken, this year, we are expecting to come up with the 1st NCVD-ACS registry report.
