The First Report of the National Cataract Surgery Registry 2002 was presented by Dr Goh Pik Pin on 16 December 2003, to participants mainly heads of ophthalmology departments, senior ophthalmologists, optometrists and senior medical assistants from the participating centres, during the Standard Operating Procedures Workshop at Hospital Selayang. It has generated some interesting discussion among participants and requests have been made to look into various issues related to cataract surgery outcomes.
