Diabetes Registry Malaysia (DRM) is a mother registry for diabetes mellitus in Malaysia. Currently, DRM consists of two registries; Diabetes In Children and Adolescents Registry (DiCARE) and An Audit of Diabetes Control and Management (ADCM). The Diabetes in Children and Adolescents
Registry (DiCARE) is a MOH supported service to collect information
about diabetes mellitus. The information can be used to estimate the
incidence of diabetes disease according to the types, to evaluate
its risk factors and treatment in the country. Such information is
useful for assisting the MOH, non-governmental organizations,
private providers and industry in planning and evaluation, leading
to diabetes disease prevention and control.
